What is Polycotton Canvas?

Polycotton Canvas is a matt, bright white, cotton and polyester blend canvas that is ideal for the reproduction of paintings and photos. The added polyester allows for easy stretching and minimal shrinkage when varnished compared to 100% cotton. It gives a wide colour gamut and good water resistance with pigment inks so can be protected with a waterbased varnish. Excellent crack resistance. Dye and pigment ink compatible.
